The company was established as P. Chester Plumbing and Heating engineers in 1953 by Peter and Eileen Chester in Bedford, by 1975 the company became limited and from then on was known as P. Chester and Son (BEDFORD) Ltd. the business has continued to trade for over 41 years and still to the day contains active members of the Chester family.

We provide Mechanical services maintenance and installation (heating, cooling and air conditioning) to a range of different schemes. These include; Schools, Universities, Leisure facilities, hospitals, police stations and care homes. We operate primarily within the Bedfordshire area. However, we do work in the surrounding counties of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Greater London.

Our professional team of managers and skilled Gas safe, Oftec and FGAS engineers operate to the highest of standards, delivering an efficient and effective way to carry out both, maintenance and installation jobs flawlessly for our customers.

P. Chester & Son also operate a 24-hour call out service, giving our customers peace of mind to call any time. Our pricing policy applies to all jobs ranging from domestic installations to plant room renovations. It is a no obligation service designed to give our customers maximum choice with no pressure to commit to any further work. It is important for us to provide our clients with an installation that is complete and accurate to begin with.
